On the other side of the shift
Less friction. More getting on with it.
- 01
Publish clear shifts against the right venue and person.
- 02
Handle availability, open shifts and exchanges visibly.
- 03
Keep assignment, brief and work evidence attached to the shift.
What’s included
Made for the job.
The practical details behind the promise. Built around the people doing the work, and connected to the information they need.
- 01
Week planning and reusable templates
Create reusable shift requirements, drag eligible people into open places and publish the week. Filter by site, space and role while keeping hours and gaps visible.
- 02
Availability and exchange
Let people expose availability, open shifts and exchange requests without losing coverage state.
- 03
Open shifts and offers
Expose uncovered work to eligible people without quietly changing the published schedule.
- 04
Demand and coverage proposals
Use connected Booking demand to review coverage and proposed redeployments or open shifts. Check eligibility, availability, qualifications, working limits and budget before acceptance.
- 05
Shift briefs and worked time
Give each shift a relevant brief from permitted operational sources. Record worked minutes and breaks for manager approval while retaining the assignment history.
Part of the bigger picture
The context comes with it.
The guest, the venue, the team. Useful information should follow the work. Rotas connects to shared records, with access controlled for your organisation and your people.
A clear picture
Today. And what’s next.
Week planning, reusable templates, drag-and-drop assignment, availability, open shifts, pickup incentives, two-sided swaps, shift briefs and approved worked-time evidence. Connected Booking demand supports reviewed coverage proposals.
Demand proposals require the relevant connected products and current source evidence. Payroll-provider delivery remains product direction; Rotas does not infer legal rest, overtime or pay from employment type alone.
Good questions
Rotas FAQs.
Is Messages included with Rotas?
No. Rotas and Messages are separate products with separate entitlements. They can exchange governed context when both are enabled.
Can team members manage their own availability?
The Rotas surface supports own-record availability and shift exchange within the access granted to that person.
Does Rotas replace employment records?
No. Rotas consumes the minimum employment eligibility needed for shift decisions without becoming the employment system.
Does the marketing preview approve a real shift?
No. The schedule and exchange use sample records. No shift or payroll evidence changes.
